My PC recently wouldn't boot up so I reset the BIOS and it was working fine until the PC suddenly crashed when I launched a game. After that I launched my PC fine and tried to reinstall my GPU drivers but it froze. I've reset windows completely multiple times but it hasn't fixed it. My GPU is an AMD HD 7850.

Solution

Ok I'm thinking there is a good chance your GPU is failing. Testing it in another system will determine if thats true or not. being that you have a fresh install of Windows, unless your PCIe slot is failing there is little else it could be. If your board has another PCIe slot I would try it in there first, but I doubt that is the case.

gpu - AMD HD 7850
cpu - Intel Xeon E5-1650 3.20GHz
ram - 32gb
motherboard - supermicro x9srl-f

I should be able to test the GPU on another PC and I have fresh installed Windows 10 from a USB.

I switched the GPU to another PCIe slot and when I plugged back in my PC and logged into Windows it froze after 15 seconds. I then restarted it and it froze on the Windows loading screen.
