Hello all! I have recently upgraded my computer and I've noticed that my PC freezes and I have to restart my PC to bring it back to normal. This has happened twice when I was playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and another time when I was running a Minecraft server, launching Minecraft, and installing Titanfall at the same time.
The new upgrade I had gotten was a new motherboard (MSI 970) and CPU (AMD FX-8350), any help would be amazing, anyways here are my specs! P.S. I actually have 3 sticks of RAM, 2 being one brand (each being 4GB), and the 3rd being a different brand (1 stick of 8GB), and I took out the 3rd to see if it would fix the issue, but it did not.
-Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
-CPU
AMD FX-8350
Vishera 32nm Technology
-RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz
-Motherboard
MSI 970 GAMING
-Graphics
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (EVGA)
-Storage
931GB Western Digital WDC WD1003FZEX-00MK2A0 (SATA)
-Powersupply
Corsair CXM 750W 80+ Bronze

Solution
Your voltages are too high. Please replace your power supply before it causes permanent damage to your system.

I recommend the Cooler Master V series, Corsair RMi/RMx series, EVGA SuperNOVA G2/P2/T2 series of power supplies. Please get a unit of at least 550 watts.

Your CPU is also thermal throttling. This is represented by how clock speeds drop as temperatures increase.

In AMD chips, the thermal sensors are further away from the heat producing components, so it will throttle at a lower reported temperature than Intel chips. The CPU temps should not go above 50C.

Please upgrade your CPU cooler. I recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.

Is your PC getting very hot as that triggers a thermal shutdown.
Windows 10 currently is very unstable (People report issues from a recent patch!) so it might solve itself when Microsoft update the OS. Another thing is that if you try to run a lot of programs your CPU will be overloaded (Skype loves to hog CPU for example)...

It wouldn't be a heat problem, I've checked my temps as I play games and they were nothing concerning, maybe it could be an update from Microsoft, but I'm not sure, and as for the overloading, I doubt it would be that as well, I've checked using task manager, and I've upgraded my CPU anyways.

From here it looks like the OS isn't working, PC has decent specs so that's not an issue.

Wait until Microsoft send out another patch and if it continues then maybe create another thread. Issues like this sometimes fix themselves (computers run on magic and so do weird things for no reason!)

Your motherboard appears to have good VRM cooling, so it's likely not a power delivery issue.

The Corsair CX/CXM series of power supplies are rather low quality, it may be the problem.

In order to be sure of the cause, please download AIDA64 Extreme using the download.aida64.com download location.

Once downloaded, drop down the Tools menu across the top, select System Stability Test, check all options except for Stress Local Disk and run the test for ten minutes. Take a screenshot of the statistics tab every thirty seconds. Please reply with the screenshots, thanks.

Alright after longer than this should have taken (trouble with uploading pictures) I'll just put the link in here, and you can view the pictures, you'll need to start at "Screenshot (4).png" and than make it to "Screenshot (22).png" in order to see the pictures in chronological order, sorry about that. https://imageshack.com/a/VpTM/1
Also, to your question before, here are the temps when I idle and when I game:

Idle:
CPU:20-35C
Motherboard:30C
Graphics Card:31C
Storage:30C

Gaming:
CPU: 56C
Motherboard: 50C
Graphics Card: 70C
Storage: 30C

One final question, would these two parts work just fine (specifically CPU Fan) with everything else. Turns out the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo won't fit my case and I'm a little tight on money for a bigger case right now, but I've taken another look at CPU fans.

Sorry to bother but... I'v experienced similar problems. PC freezing (Screen just stops at the frame) no inputs accepted and requires a hard reboot. It's a very new system, put it together just the other month but haven't started using it since about 3 days ago because i lacked a screen. It played games fine until yesterday evening. Once froze playing a youtube video aswell.
How do I know if I'm using too high voltage? You mentioned that the Corsair CMX series are low quality, could that be my problem? Using a CMX 550W to power an i5-6500 and MSI DualFan GTX 1060 OC. Done some research and it should be well below the power limit.

It's not thermals since it freezes after sometimes only 2 minutes and that isn't enough to heat up that high right? Got my RAM tested with the windows diagnostic tool and it showed no errors.
