Question PC freezing while gaming need help

When ever I play games my pc will freeze after a while I can still hear the game audio but my keyboard and mouse don’t work the only way for me to get it unfrozen is to restart the pc can a faulty psu cause this to happen?
Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
Asus Prime B450M-A
RX590 Fatboy
DDR4 16gb corsair vengeance
EVGA 500w 80+ Bronze Psu

Your PSU is not meant for the job, you should've gone for a 650W reliably built PSU to power the entire system.

The RX 590m Fatboy runs hot and is power hungry. You need a much higher quality power supply around 650 watts and make sure you have good airflow through your case.

Thx I order a new psu hopefully that will fix my problem I’ll keep this post update when my psu comes in

Ok I will just ordered a new psu 750w gold I’ll let you know if that fixed it whenever it comes in

No. This is not a PSU issue.

No. The old PSU didn't damage the GPU. You have a problem that's not PSU related.
