While playing any type of game or just things like downloading or converting my pc crashes randomly. It used to make a noise when it crashed but now it just freezes silently.

Solution
That board supports the FX-9590 correctly

However, that PSU probably not so much. I would get a better quality higher wattage one, that Processor is known to draw up to 300watts under load. Even though your GPU is fairly moderate, I would bet the PSU is the problem, it an non 990FX motherboards are the most common problems with that processor.

Forgot to add, even the right motherboard needs a ton of cooling with that processor, make sure you've populated every part of your case that can take it with a proper fan.

Amd Fx 9590 - CPU
Corsair H75 Liquid Cooling
Corsair Vengence 8 gig of ram
Sapphire 270X Toxic - Graphics Card
Crosshair V Formula Z - Mobo
OCZ 650w - PSU

People frequently use junk PSUs to run powerful rigs too, doesn't mean it's a good thing to do.
You have a socket compatible motherboard, true. But that's only one consideration.

Turkey has already pointed out, you have a board capable of reliably running CPU's up to 140W....and you're using a 220W CPU.

Look at the CPU support list: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/CROSSHAIR_V_FORMULAZ/HelpDesk_CPU/
"Due to the high TDP, please be noted there are limitations while using this CPU"

You'd need additional, aftermarket cooling of other components, not simply the CPU (as your liquid cooler does) to be close to stable performance.

You may have a decent cooler on the CPU, but the VRMs on the motherboard are probably overheating. You can either get a good big-air cooler like a 140mm Noctua (assuming it will fit in your case), or use an Antec Spotcool aimed at the VRMs, along with your current CPU cooler.

What psu would you recommend?
