Question PC frequently crashes during game loading screens ?

My PC frequently crashes during game loading screens. It's not just the game that crashes, it's my entire PC that reboots. This is a problem I'm mostly experiencing in Apex Legends, but other games do it too. Some games, like Overwatch or Fortnite, have no trouble whatsoever. I can sometimes go several days without a single crash, and other days it is totally impossible to play.

CPU: Intel i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core
GPU: Gigabyte RX580
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-GAMING 3 ATX LGA1151
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 4GB x 4 (16GB) DDR4-2400
PSU: Seasonic 720 Watt

Storage:

• ADATA Ultimate SU800 256GB 2.5" SSD
• Sandisk Ultra 1TB SSD
• 500GB HDD

Any ideas what could be the cause of this?

Going by your symptoms, i'd say that your PSU has a leaking capacitor

Can you get/lend:steal a (known working) PSU and try it with your pc?
