PC froze and won't turn back on

Hi guys, having a bit of a issue I hope I can get help identifying. I was using my PC as normal and the screen went black, computer still on as normal, tried to reset using the power buttons and it wouldnt turn off, eventually I had to cut the power as it was properly stuck, not it won't turn back on. Anyone have any ideas whats causing it? Something to note is that the screen had went black like that twice earlier in the day too but a reset fixed it. PC is about two years old, haven't had issues with anything up to now.

Specs:
Sapphire 7950 3GB GPU
AMD 8350 CPU
16GB DDR4 Ballistix Sport
MSI carbon 970a motherboard

Corsair CX 750W 80 Plus Bronze Hybrid Modular Power Supply, about two years old at this stage

My experience tells me that it's most likely a failing or failed Power Supply.

Always list your full hardware specifications with the question.
Can be more easy to point to one or more hardware then.


EDIT:

Now that you have listed specifications. Can you list the full name of that PSU. Is it an RMi?, RMx? RM? CM? etc etc.

I will say this - the Amazon customer reviews of this PSU doesn't look promising on the tales of reliability.

The PSU is not "good" but it aint bad either.

Next point would be to look at your system tempratures for the CPU and GPU. What are they during idle and full load?

Thanks guys, I think it may be pointing towards the motherboard, I've tried the power supply and graphics card in another computer and all seems to be good with them
