Pc froze now not getting display

Well I was just chilling doing uni work on my rig and it freezes. Couldn't restart ot switched off so was forced to turn off at psu switch. Turned it back on all lights come on but doesnt give display output or light up the LEDs on my keyboard and mouse.
Attempts at fix:
-Unplugged and heald the power button for 10 seconds then powered back up.
-Replaced cpu thermal paste
-Powered up without gpu fitted.

From what I've read one of the other possibilities is the psu's fucked.
Anything else I can try before trying to get my hands on a new psu?

in order
-reset cmos.
-reseat ram.
-move ram around in different slots. try different ram stick, maybe from another machine.
-check all internal connections and remove any unnecessary external connections.
-psu test/replace
-mobo replace

Cheers for the help. Turned out to be a faulty ram stick.
