PC Gamer UPGRADE

I want to upgrade my Gaming Computer ( to play Assassin's Creed Origins, Shadow or War, Far Cry 5, and recent / future games ), for the moment i have :

Motherboard : MSI B150M Bazooka
CPU : Intel I5-6400
GPU : MSI GTX 970 4G Gaming
RAM : 16Gb DDR4

I also have and SSD + HDD and a 900W Power Supply
I'm not thinking about upgrading the motherboard ( can't see a good reason, beside overclocking ), so no Overclocking, NO -K cpu's

I will be able to buy the i5-7600 or the i7-7700
Should i also upgrade my Graphic Card ?

Your current pc is able to run all of those games you listed just fine. Also what 900w psu?

It's certified, i'm not worring much about the PSU, anyway the prices are not that high.

those games are playable, but maybe Medium or at least High with so much pressure on the computer.
So i wanted to make some changes especially for CPU and GPU.
for the CPU i'm 80% sure that it will need to be replaced, it's not that powerful, and for the graphic card, beside 1070 or 1080, i think there's no much difference for other
