Is it just me or does it seem like there's alot of game production companies that're screwing PC gamers out of some really awesome games, all for seemingly pathetic reasons. EA's teasing us, saying we might see a Dead Space 2, and Microsoft's saying we all game on tiny screens; "Some games are more suited for the intimacy of the PC, and others are best played from the couch in front of a larger TV screen. We ultimately realised that the most compelling way to experience "Alan Wake" was on the Xbox 360 platform, so we focused on making it an Xbox 360 exclusive. Both Microsoft and Remedy have long histories in PC game development. This decision was about matching this specific game to the right platform." I'm one of the people with an HDCP enabled PC who games on a 42" LED HDTV. And by the way, I do all that from my couch using my wireless keyboard and mouse. Console gamers aren't the only gamers who play from the couch.
Microsoft has pissed me off for the last time. They already diluted the PC gaming market with their introduction of the acurssed StupidBox (Xbox for you console people). This seems to me to just be another example of Microsoft being a big, stupid corporation whose main focus is perpetuating their negative stereotypes (being a big, stupid, monopoly in the PC gaming market). The backbone of their gaming department was built on the success of the PC gaming market and such games as Age of Empires and Flight Simulator.
Any thoughts?
