Hello, i recently upgraded from a FX-6300 to a Ryzen 3 3300x. Ever since the new upgrade, all my games have been crashing. This includes GTA V, CSGO, PTTR, Cooking Sim etc. Only one that worked was cities skylines.

FYI:
Yes, i have the latest drivers.
No, i did not re-install windows. I booted off my SSD as i kept the same storage.
The CPU is not overclocked, nor does it overheat.

Specs:

Ryzen 3 3300x
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB DDR4 3200

Solution
I did get a new mb and ram too. My PSU is a Thermaltake Smart 700w, but this should not matter.
If you got a new motherboard....do a clean Windows install.
At first I was under the impression you were using the same motherboard.
New motherboard=clean Windows install.

It does support the CPU, maybe try installing the latest BIOS just in case? Also whats the dif in power draw? Could your PSU not support the 3300X?

Edit: It would not be a power issue as the FX-6300 pulls much more power than the 3300x

Well being the 3300x runs on the first BIOS it can't be that.

...and I don't think it has anything to do with Windows or drivers.

let's just say I don't see anything obvious.

...and I don't even see where the 6300 is supported by that MB.

but regardless.

What's the power supply model and age?

I did get a new mb and ram too. My PSU is a Thermaltake Smart 700w, but this should not matter.
