Hello,
I recently purchased an Acer Aspire 5733Z with Windows 7. I have tried to play my Big Fish Games and they run fine but do not play on full screen. They were fine on my old computer with Windows XP. I am not a techi so looking for a simple and uncomplicated fix (if possible). Have tried changing the resolution on the laptop and also changed the properties on the game to maximize the full screen and so far nothing has worked. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Q:

Why does my game look skewed or not work in full screen mode?
A:

Your screen resolution settings may be contributing to your game display issues. Follow the instructions below to adjust your screen resolution for your specific operating system.
Windows XP / 2000

From your desktop, right-click and select Properties.
Click the Settings tab.
Adjust your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 (or higher) and select OK.
Reopen your game.

Windows 7

From your desktop, right-click and select Screen resolution.
Adjust your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 (or higher) and click OK.
Reopen your game.

Windows Vista

From your Vista desktop, right-click and select Personalize.
Select Display Settings.
Adjust your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 (or higher) and click Apply > OK.
Reopen your game.

Mac

Open up the Apple menu.
Select System Preferences.
Click on the Displays icon.
Select the Display tab to adjust your resolution to 1024 x 768 (or higher).
Reopen your game.

Switch to Windowed Mode

If you continue to have trouble playing your game in full screen mode, switch to windowed mode. Under the main menu of the game, select Options, and un-check Full Screen mode.

In some games, Windowed Mode may appear in place of the Full screen option.

So most of their games are designed to be played on either a 1024x768 display or in a window if using a larger display and any desktop resolution setting above 1024x768 will result in a window being used. They just do not design the games to be played on modern large resolution screens so you will need to change the laptop resolution to 1024x768 in order for the game to show up full screen.
