PC Games Similar to Goldeneye007?

I've been looking a long time for a PC game that is similar to the old Goldeneye game for N64. That was my favorite FPS of all time.

For those of you who are really into PC FPS games, which one would you say is the most similar to Goldeneye? I really don't like games like Quake, Doom, etc. that feature hideous monsters for characters, and include levels that look like the darkest pit of Hell. I like more realistic real-world levels, and human characters. I also like indoor levels, rather than the huge outdoor levels of games like BF1942.

So are there any PC games out there that are more similar to the style and gameplay of Goldeneye? I know I'm not the only Goldeneye fan out there.

I'll just ask your mom. From what I've heard, she knows more about sucking than anyone else in the continental United States.

Have never tried that game but WHat about James Bond 007 Nitefire, SPlinter Cell 1&2, MAx Payne 1&2?

Try splinter cell now that I think about it. It looks good and is as boring and cumbersome as goldeneye.

Whoa, easy fellas. I actually played and enjoyed Goldeneye back in the day. You might like Deus Ex. It's a bit "futuristic" compared to Goldeneye, but it seems to meet the criteria you're looking for--"real world" environments, no huge outdoor levels, etc. It's more of an intelligent shooter than Doom, in my opinion. Anyway, it's several years old now, so you should be able to pick it up cheap, and give it a try.

I agree with Stinkfinger...try 007 Nightfire...pretty good game. You could also try Die Hard Nakatomi Plaza, Max Payne 1 & 2.

Don't even waste your time with that.

I believe that there was an HL mod made, which replicated golden eye (for n64).
