Hi,
I want to build a new PC over the summer and wanted to know how it is. I want to use it for modern games, such as Titanfall, Skyrim, and Dark Souls 2 with decent graphics and a good fps rate, schoolwork, some video editing, and programs such as CryEngine. If there is anything that you can recommend for same/lower price that is better, feel free to let me know!

I would highly suggest windows 8.1 as the licensing terms are much better and the back end is improved unless you still want media center or something specific that 8 dropped. Start menu/UI is easy to fix so not really a good reason. but your call
