I am new to PC gaming and I need some help. There are some deals on the Dell XPS 8910 with the i7 for 680$ and then I could put in a new graphics card. Or I could build my own for around 1000$. What do you guys recommend in what I should do? Any recommendations on parts for building or build/vs prebuilt and adding graphics card?

Here's my current parts list:

u cant overclock in a b250 and thats the only drawback. its more recent than z170. otherwise i am sure a b250 can support the next gen volta/vega GPUs
it has a m.2 slot too so what more do u want?
P.S.: Kendomen has a 5 fan cooling solution, much better than s340. if u r going with b250 2400mhz is the limit. z170 requires a bios update for 7th gen 😉

your part list looks great, I changed my video card to match the one u had, but your motherboard looked a little lacking regarding future proofing.
