Hello, I have an Asus GTX 970, AMD 7850K, 16GB Ram, all my games run flawlessly (60+ Fps), However I have noticed minecraft only does about 20/30FPS and all my other games run great at max setting, anyone know whats wrong? I used to get 150/200fps on Minecraft without mods on average, then it all of a suddenly went to 30fps for some reason, is Java the problem or is it something else?

Why are you running an APU with that GPU?

Is it possible that your minecraft is running on your APU instead of your GPU? Can you use something like MSI afterburner and check your GTX 970 load in game?

I think the problem is Java, when I go onto Can I Run It to see if i can run any games, it says java has crashed, Minecraft crashes whenever I try to close it too.

And I have an APU because my motherboard is an FM2+ Motherboard (MSI A88X Motherboard)

I would seriously consider switching CPUs. It would definitely benefit your GTX 970.

You wont be able to upgrade on FM2.
