Ok so I decided I could tell you about my problem before going at the service with my PC :D

So my PC is basically working perfectly until I start playing games. So after I play for a while, my PC just randomly restarts... and then I enter the game again and it restarts after 5 minutes or so. What could be the problem? I am using both a SSD and a HDD by the way. Running Windows 8 on the SSD and using the HDD just for downloads (porn). I tried removing the SSD and installing Windows 8 on the HDD... same issues. I tried removing the HDD, same issues.

What could be the problem? :/ I am sooo desperate :D

Hi there mrkosti,

It seems that this is not related to your storage. :)
You can do several things:
- Measure your system's temps. Have you cleaned the dust out of your computer? Amassed dust could block the airflow and lead to increased temperature.
- Test your RAM. In case you have more than RAM stick, you can try running your system with only one at a time(attached to a different slot) and see whether the issue persists. Check this out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-1906201/test-memory-memtest.html
- Update your GPU drivers.

Hope any of this will help,

My temps are always ok, never seen them go over 40 C (I am using SpeedFan for measuring)
Yes, I did clean my PC as I thought it could be a solution - I just forgot to mention it :D
I am going to test my RAM and come back with a reply
GPU drivers are up to date

Thanks for the answer :D

Hmm... Can you recommend a PSU that doesn't cost alot of money? :D Because right now I'm testing the RAM, and if they aren't the problem, I'm probably gonna buy a new PSU. I have this PC since December 2013, so I guess it's pretty old.

I would say that it is highly possible that your PSU is causing all of this as well(in case the RAM turns out to be fine). I think it would be a good idea to just borrow one from somebody and try it on your system(as this is the easiest way to check whether your PSU is not operating properly) before getting a new one.

Ok so the RAM isn't a problem either. Probably it's the PSU and since I don't have where to borrow one from, I'm just gonna go ahead and buy a new one. I'm guessing 500W is more than enough for my setup, so can you guys recommend some good PSU's for the price? Thanks alot
