YAY!!!! starcraft II beta is the best news this half decade

Wow, I was really hoping the SC2 beta would start soon but I didn't think it was going to happen for a while. Unless they started the beta before April or May we wouldn't see SC2 released for the holiday season. Seems like there might actually be hope now for a 2009 release if they plan on starting the beta within the next few months!

....but that also means for-sure no Diablo III this year (Blizz would never release two of their main series in one year, never ever) and I'm looking forward to that much more than I am SC2 🙁

Whoa, whoa.. Star-CRAST?! There goes my happiness level 🙁

I'm sure the beta is purely multiplayer so it doesn't interest me much as I seem to be the only PC gamer in the world who liked the original for the campaign and barely played online. Oh well might as well sign up and give it to a friend if I am picked.

I enjoyed playing the campaigns from SC1 and Broodwar as well. For some reason I would always be drawn back into playing all of the missions again, usually after a few months to a year went by between cravings... Very good storyline and voice over work.
