Pc gaming on an hdtv

I have an samsung 3D 46" LED 1080p HDTV with a Native Resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 a contrast ration of 6,000,000:1 240hz a dvi and vga hook up would this be any good for pc gaming or would i need a pc monitor

It will work for gaming if you sit a ways back so the screen is not blocky!
