[SOLVED] PC Gaming opinion.

Hi everybody, i'd like to upgrade my pc, the result could be this:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600x upgraded
MOBO: MSI B450-A Pro MAX ATX upgraded
GPU: VGA ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT 6Gb OC Challenger D upgraded
RAM: 16Gb (4x4Gb) DDR4 2400Ghz /
Cooler: Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer C /
Power Supply: Corsair TX750M 80Gold+ upgraded
HDD: WD 1TB 7,2 RPM /
SSD: Kingston 120Gb /
CASE: Thermaltake Versa n24 Black /

What do you say?
Do i have to change something on your opinion?
Can i save some money buing something with the same caratteristics of these components but cheaper?

RAM, 2400 mhz is too slow and will impact performance. You really want 3000-3600mhz. It is also best to go 2x8GB, you are more likely to run into stability issues or not reaching rated speeds if using 4 simms.

Id also get a 240GB SSD minimum, 120GB is just not enough. Ideally 500GB.

Get a cheaper psu,you don't need 750watt. A 550watt would do fine. The brand/type you chose is good.
This could give you some money to upgrade that ssd.

Could go for a cheaper PSU. Maybe a TX550M instead.

Try to get a 500gb SSD or so.

Also, 2400mhz is a little slow for ryzen, although if you bump the infinity fabric clock up with 3rd gen it can negat this.

For my actual configuration (that now is 3 year old) i have a Thermaltake SMART SE530W PSU, is that okay for the configuration or do i have to change it ?

The Crucial is faster being NVMe over SATA but you are unlikely to notice in a gaming pc.

A rule of thumb for a balanced gamer is to budget about 2x the cost of the processor for the graphics card.
You are spot on in that respect.

But, there are some not so good details.

ryzen ram is only dual channel.
For 16gb, buy a 2 x 8gb kit. DO NOT buy individual sticks.
ryzen performs better with faster ram. See of you can buy more in the 3000 speed or better category.

3600X comes with a good cooler.
Try it out first.
You can not expect to overclock significantly.
If you want a better cooler, there are a number of more effective tower type air coolers available that cost less.
And... a air cooler will be more reliable and will never leak.

Your 5700XT needs a 550w psu.

I have no problem overprovisioning a PSU a bit. Say 20%.
It will allow for a stronger future graphics card upgrade.
It will run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.
I think I would look for a seasonic focus in 550 or 650w size.

I will never again build without a ssd for the C drive.
But, 120gb is too small.
Many things default to the C drive.
When a ssd fills up it will lose performance and endurance.
I recommend a 1tb ssd for everything.
A conventional 2.5" ssd will be fine. a Samsung 860 evo will be about $60.
A pcie m.2 device will be some 4x faster in sequential operations, but that is not as great as it seems.
Most activity will be small random I/0.
Consider a 1tb intel 660 m.2 pcie drive for $125 or so.
If you ever run out of space, it is easy to add another drive later.

Your case is fine, it comes with a 120mm rear exhaust fan.
That is not enough.
Buy two 120/140mm front intakes.
140mm is better because they move more air and are quieter.

I really thank you, but my Gpu is a 5600 XT not 5700XT and i actualy have 3 fan in my case.

You could use a lesser processor, but the 3600X is still a good option.
You might want a graphics upgrade in the future.

Why not go with the 3600? Money left is better spend on something else.
