So I decided to consult an expert about what's happening on my laptop then he concluded that a hard disk drive replacement is needed so we replaced it and successfully set up the computer. Unlike before, the lags and freezes were gone but when the game was finished downloading I tried playing it and it has 40-60 fps which is bad unlike before wherein I'm having 80-120 fps but at that time my hard drive was still broke, now that it is replaced, the performance of the computer has become better but why is my game having 40-60 fps? How can I fix it and bring it back to 80-120 fps :/

I have a question? Does unloosing a screw on a part of the processor affects the performance of the computer or no? Because before this laptop's hard drive was replaced, I tried to open it and unloosed some screw of the processor but I immediately put it back, I'm just afraid that it's the reason why I still have low fps on games I play unlike before
I play DotA 2 and CSGO which has okay frame rate before
DotA 2's frame rate was 60-100 but now it's from 30-60
CSGO's frame rate was 80-120 and now it's 30-60 also

The little screws on the bottom won't do anything...

If you gather your laptop's specific name and model number and OS (32/64 bit), and I can send you links to drivers that should (but might not have) been reinstalled if/when OS was replaced/reloaded...

Normally, if swapping a drive, it would be cloned, but, if it truly failed, perhaps the OS was reloaded, and left with default Microsoft drivers for the GPU, which would certainly cause a performance hit....

what i mean is the screws on the processor itself :/ i tried to open it to put some thermal paste but i failed then put it back, then after that, the fps on my games just increased :/ I will try to find my laptop model but I have my nvidia updated (latest) and my intel hd updated (latest also) might want to mention some of drivers to be updated :/ wait for my laptop model name
