PC gaming Why doesnt some games work

Hey evryone,

This is my rig......

i5
16gb corsair vengeance ram
gtx 660 ti graphics card
asus z77-v pro motherboard
120 gb ssd
1 tb hdd

some games dont wanna work on my rig...... its happened with two games now "dead rising 2 off the record" and "doom 3" after installing the games they
give the same error it just opens the game then closes windows gives the error "this program had to close" further information "APP Crash"
Im using Windows 7 professional 64 bit what could be the issue and how can i fix it.....

Which versions did you have of dead rising and doom 3?

im actaully not to sure doom 3 is the older version not the new bfg ver.....
and dead rising 2 is the off the record version

I mean, where did you buy it from? Steam? Origin? Retail box?

May I suggest enter the keys to your steam account and try running the steam version?
