Hi guys, a massive lightning strike my pc yesterday as I was away from home.

When I tried to turn on the PC, all the fans, rgb, ram rgb, cpu cooler is working fine. But there is no display, and usb port didn't detect anything (like keyboard, mouse, etc)

What is the possible problem and solution I can do? Thanks in advance

Things that I have done
  • changing ram slot
  • reset cmos battery

Often times if your system has been struck by lightning, it shouldn't even be usable, forget about it turning it on, it would be a heap of dust :p Jokes aside, you might want to list your specs, first. list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Then make sure you've breadboarded the system with the bare essentials. One stick of ram, if iGPU is available(don't use the discrete GPU) and have only the boot drive connected to the system.

For all intents and purposes, a lightning strike on a PC without a surge protector often ends up with a dead system, regardless of what you recover from it.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 ds3h
Ram: Trident Z rgb 3000mhz 2x8GB
SSD/HDD: 240gb Kingston + 2tb hdd
GPU: Zotac RTX2060
PSU: FSP 600w 80
Chassis: Tecware VEGA
OS: Windows 10

I did use surge protector for my PC, I tried my Gpu at my friend's pc and it's works well. I will try bring it to a specialist later to see what's the real problem is.
