Hello,
My computer had a BSOD and now it won’t turn on. It just cycles on and off. It sounds like it’s going to boot then stops and restarts. Thinking it’s a power supply issue but it seems to at least get power to my motherboard lights and every thing. Could it be an overheating CPU? Any helps would be appreciated.

Thanks

My BSOD occurred during gaming. I have an i7 4790k, 1060, 16 gb of ram, ASUS Maximus hero VII motherboard. I went to the store today and picked up a new PSU. Didn’t solve my problem. Still doing same thing and now it just lights up and won’t even try to boot. My PSU isn’t even trying to turn it on too. Weird.

I’ve done a number of tests. I have concluded it is either my mobo or my cpu. Going to the store to pick up new mobo and cpu as well as ram and maybe new heat sink. It’s been 8 years. It’s time for an upgrade. Haha.
