I’m having this "hot problem". When playing games my pc gets so hot also on the outside of the case. It’s on the top where the cpu is placed. The standard cpu fan is also noisy af. Hoping some of you got any solution on the problem.
I also got the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo fan, for the cpu if it’s better than the standart one?

Ask if you need more information.

Specs:
MSI 970 GAMING (MS-7693) motherboard
AMD FX-8350 CPU
AMD Radeon R7 370 graphic card
Corsair VS 650 WAT power supply

CPU max: 70 C
The max stats is after 1 hour playing of Overwatch

Solution
As stated above, you probably have insufficient airflow within the case.
To verify this, try playing without side panel as suggested above.
Basically, for a good airflow, you need something like:
* 2x 120/140 intake fans mounted at front/bottom of the case
* 2x 120/140 exhaust fans located on the top/rear of your case.
Of course your ambient temperature will greatly affect the temperatures. Above setup will work up to 30C ambient at most.
Also, while gaming, case fans should run faster than at idle.
To make it perfect, try to achieve positive air pressure within the case (slightly more intake than exhaust )

It's noisy because it's on full speed since it can't keep up. That CPU gets warm indeed and you're best solution is start looking at how much actual external air you're moving though the case. especially since you're getting hot spots.

Try removing the case side and gaming, if the problem goes away start thinking about better case cooling.

I will try that now. About the cooling I have a question. I replaced almost all of the pieces in this pc so it’s almost new but in the new motherboard there wasn’t enough pins for me to connect the front ground fan, could it be a problem not having it in there?

And should i replace the standart fan with the corsair, if the standart cant keep up? :)

Hello guys. Thanks for your help guiding me in the right direction. I was down in our pc support in my town for a free check. He said the cooling paste was all dried up and the standard cpu fan were bad. So I applied new cooling paste and bought like you said a cable so I could power my front low fan also + I changed the standard fan with a coolermaster model. So now I will try to see how the cooling will work.

Again thanks guys :) !!
