Hello everyone!
As stated above, I have a gaming rig and internet stating 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload from TWC/spectrum. I've always connected my PC using wifi and video streaming and games have always worked smoothly. Although, recently I've been getting internet speeds still stating the usual 100/10 speeds, but no applications or websites load or work nearly as fast as they used to. I have checked with my ISP and they came over to check, but with no success. If anyone knows why my PC is stating fast speeds but isn't working as such please inform me.
P.S.- all other devices in my house (phones, tablets, laptops) work with perfect speeds, except the PC.

Thanks in advance for any info

Solution
Maybe a power line adapter would solve the problem http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/test-centre/network-wifi/20-best-powerline-adapters-2017-uk-3490638/
Ping spikes are likely to be caused by WiFi interference. There are a few things to try.

Power cycle the router.
Change the channel from auto to a fixed number and try out several different channels.

There are many cause for intermittent wifi interference. The best action is to use any possible way to get the router and the device wifi antenna closer together.

Some things the look for in trouble shooting intermittent wifi spikes....

Are there any new wireless devices in your home, like a cordless phone? Do the spikes occur at the same time as the use of a microwave oven? Do you live in an apartment where a neighbor may have either of these or competing wifi?
