Question pc getting freeze is my ram broken?

My pc build is new

8gb hyperx ddr4
I59400f
Gtx1060 6gb
Playing cricket 19 and having all other apps un opened only game and steam to invite friends. My pc gets hang while playing. It started happening from two days. From a week in playing this game since it's launched never this problem came. Don't know what's wrong. Msi after burner shows ran usage 8020 something mb when it starts hanging. It freezez and i have to restart it. I can't even talk to three people at once in steam having the game open. Before i used to talk on steam have chrome opened and game opened. Is my ram broken?

sound like you ran out of ram and using hdd as virtual memory(pagefile).
upgrade your ram. get a ssd

Hi thanks for reply bro. Here are my pc specs. You really think so. In the first few days i was playing the same game on same settings and there was no problem i was using chrome and msi after burner at the same time. along with steam few tabs of chat open. Now how suddenly it can consume whole ram when i am closing chrome and just using game and steam chats along with after burner.
