[SOLVED] PC getting hung up in booting

So, a while back I built my first computer (like 5 months ago) and it’s always had this weird thing happen when booting, I’ll see the desktop but all the icons are pages and nothing will open for a minute or two after booting, then it will work normally. Is there any way to fix this because it is starting to bug me?

It sounds like a driver is not loading. Try booting into safe mode and see if the boot is faster. If so, do a clean boot https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows and start adding start programs until the booting hands up again.

Ok, I will try this, something else to note, when it doesn’t shutdown correctly(ex. Power Cut from it) it works fine

So it did boot faster, however, I can’t really test to see what caused it because it doesn’t do the weird hung up thing if I just restart it, any ideas?

What you need to is run msconfig again, and check some of the start apps then restart. If it doesn't hang up, check some more; keep doing this until it starts to hang. I usually check 3 or 4 at a time, and once the problems crops up concentrate on the 3-4 apps you last checked.
