I have been having an issue with my PC where it freezes on the tuf gaming logo when I first start it up. When it first happened I tried a number of different fixes including resetting cmos battery and basically everything you can think of. I then took the back panel of my PC off, had a look, put it back on, and all of a sudden it worked. At the time I thought it was a coincidence or just blind luck but now I think otherwise. This issue would’ve occurred over 50 times since then and most of the time, removing and putting back the back panel of the case works. However it doesn’t always work which makes me think there is something else at play. Any ideas?

There is no such thing as blind luck when it comes to electronics and PC hardware. Something is causing it and most likely it's something that is not making a great connection due to maybe something like poor cable management and the case panel is putting stress on one of the wires or cables, or something is getting shorted out. Maybe one of the wires got clipped or exposed and is grounding on the case panel.

What happens if you leave the panel off entirely? Have you TRIPLE checked the 8 pin EPS/CPU connectors to make sure they are FULLY plugged in to the motherboard at the top? Because it's easy for that to SEEM fully plugged in, but since the wiring has to go up through the top of the motherboard tray to reach that area it is very easy for the side panel to cause issues if maybe it's not COMPLETELY seated. Same for checking the ATX cable. Make certain, in fact, UNPLUG all the cables and plug them back in, making sure they are completely seated. Rocking them a little bit side to side often helps to make sure everything seats correctly.
