PC goes into a reboot loop after adding ram

Hi! Hopefully someone can help me out here. As the title says, my computer goes into a reboot loop after I added some new ram. To start out, here is my setup:

CPU : i7 3930K

MotherBoard : Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5 BIOS version F12 (the only newer one is F13w Beta)

GPU : EVGA Geforce GTX 970 SSC 4GB x2 SLI

RAM : Corsair XMS3 16gb; CMX8GX3M2A1600C11
1600MHz 8GB (2x4GB) 11-11-11-30 1.50v ver2.13

The new RAM that I ordered is the same type, CMX8GX3M2A1600C11, but ver3.24

The computer came with 16GB of ram, 2 sets of 2x4gb sticks, so I assumed that I could buy another two sets of the same type to bump me to 32GB. But after instilling the 4 new sticks my computer just reboots itself every 30 seconds or so. If I take them back out the computer boots normally.

Here's what I've tried so far and some, hopefully, useful findings:

Reset CMOS, several times between altering configurations of new/old RAM

Swapped out old ram with new to see if the ram itself was the problem. Booted up normally with just the new ram.

Tried installing old ram into slots I'd originally installed new ram, back to boot loop

Here's something I found interesting in the BIOS. When I had just the new ram in the Optimized Defaults set the ram settings to: 1600MHz 11-11-13-30 1.50v.
However, when I put the old ram back into it's original place the Optimized Defaults changed to: 1333MHz 9-9-11-24 1.50v

With this new information I went back into the BIOS and manually set all of the memory channels to 1600MHz 11-11-11-30 1.50v. But again, I could boot with either the old ram or the new, but not both.

I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm guessing it's a problem between the two sets, being different versions and showing different Optimized Default settings. But is there a way to tweak the settings to make them work together? Or should I just return it, buy an actual 32GB set and call my old ram a loss?

Solution
Your last assumption is the right one, get new 32 gb kit. There is no guarantee that the card will work together unless it is from the same retail package.

Thanks for the reply. I was pretty sure that would be the answer I got. I played around some more with the setting, manually inputting a few different numbers, playing around with the voltage a little bit. But still couldn't get it to work. Anyway, I just returned it to Amazon. Thanks again.
