Hello friends. My PC have slowed down when OC and after when i have returned to stock. And also when i have disassembled PC and reassembled it, i had to remowe the battery in order to boot it. :/ does someone knows why is that? Was it because of bad OC, or the HDD due to many writes/erases in 5 years?
MB: Gigabyte ga-890gpa-ud3h
CPU: Phenom II X4 965 Black @3.4 was @4.0 with CM V8
RAM: 4GB DDR3 Patriot
GPU: Radeon 5670HD 1GB DDR5
HDD: 1TB WD Blue
PSU: CM GX650W Bronze 1st gen
OS: Win 7 Ultimate x32

Solution
Most likely you have damaged your motherboard or your RAM during your OC. I would run a memtest on your memory first to see if that nails it down.

Also, you can check the capacitors on your motherboard to see if any of those are swollen or look somewhat cahrred.

LEt us know.

Ty for a quick answer. Well, i have runned memtest when it was oc-ed to check for instability, it passed, and none of the capacitors are swollen or charred. :/ by the way, GPU was slightly oc-ed through MSI afterburner clock from 775 to 800 and mem clock from 950 to i think 1050. Memory vas at 1500Mhz but i think i haven't touhed the voltages for it. voltages for cpu vas 1.5v or 1.55v i've lost paper where i have written all down.

45 C is your under stress temps or idle? I need the stress temperature like what is the temperatures when running Prime 95?

"Well i tryed lower woltages, but it just kept restarting"

If your system is not stable at a lower voltage then you have to lower your overclock.

When idle, it was between 36 and 39 C, when stressed between 43 and 47...i know, but i've used some OC guide that i have found here that said to bump up the voltage...it was stable for couple of months, then, i returned it to stock...:/ by the way on multiplyer and voltages on auto it didn't go pass 3.8GHz...:/

That is strange. If it was a newer CPU I would say that it was normal just the turbo kicking in. But, this chip does not seem to have a turbo that I can see. Are you running a third party overclocking program that might be overriding the BIOS settings?

Also, 45c @ 1.5 Volts under 100% load, is totally amazing. What stress test software are you running? Are you running a water loop of some kind?

See this guy was only running at 1.43V and a faster overclock and still got higher temps than you...

No, no, i've done it in bios. I know, i have really payed attention on temps, i had 3 aftermarket fans running, one to support V8, second and third for chips and other thing on mobo, can't remember whats called...well, his is a bit different...my multiplyer was at x17, but bus speed was 236...
