Gday all.
I used to run a GTX 960, all my games worked perfectly, not a problem with them. id get around 50 fps on overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege.
I've recently Upgraded to a GTX 1060 as i had a bit of cash spare, now whenever i launch any game, whether it be Overwatch, Siege, or even CS:GO, I have to go into task manager and set the priority of the game to high to get good frames. When i do that, I do have better frames, but if I don't set the priority, my game will be choppy and unplayable, I assume around 2-5 FPS.
I have checked to see that GeForce Experience is running the latest software and that it registers that i have a 1060 and it does.
If anyone has any solutions at all that would be very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Jethro
PC Specs (just in case):
GTX1060
8GB Kingston ram
Intel i5-6400
128GB SSD (OS and a bit extra)
Several HDD's (where all games are stored)
