PC GPU/Mobo/PSU help!

Hi I'm trying to choose between two builds. Both have the Xeon E3-1241v3 and 16GB RAM. I'll be using the computer for animating on Blender, 3D modelling on AutoCAD and high end gaming. Should I go with the:

MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB Gaming with a Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H
Or the
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4GB with an ASUS Z97-A

Also how high voltage PSU should I get for the better build (I'd get another 390 for crossfire later on if I do go with that build).

If you gonna go with a R9 390 crossfire build, you want a decent 1000W psu such as EVGA G2 1000W or RM1000i.
If you need the 8GB vram then the R9 390 would be better.

A decent 650W then such as EVGA GS 650W.
Gaming at 1080p, they trade blows. I'm unsure about Blender and Autocad but if they rely on lots of vram, the R9 390 might be more desirable.
