OK so I now have a AMD A8 3870K Black edition 4gb of 1866mhz RAM and a compatible motherboard after my most recent upgrade and I don't know what to do with it really I was thinking about buying a new hdd just like a cheap 320gb one a OEM copy of windows a cheap case and a suitable power supply BUT the GPU for this "spare" PC probably going to replace the WII (hopefully emulate it too!) in the lounge and I'm hung on whether to go with a "new" GPU probably a 7750 for about £80 or a "old" one like a GTX 570/580/480 and these cards too can be found second hand for about £80 on the eBay they maybe more power hungry pieces of equipment but are a lot higher performance and that would mean not being able to buy a 30 quid PSU but it would mean steam OS support and saving money on the OS and many games are soon to come too (if what the all mighty Gaben has promised is true) and if push comes to shove I'm sure I'll be able to get some way of home streaming up and running so that's it really I'd like an opinion off you and maybe a suggestion of something else?

My original reasoning but lots of the people on eBay are willing to test it for you if you ask and when buying for this PC is strictly BEST bang for the lowest price and that's what lots of these second hands cards will provide and that's why I'm siding that direction

So are you saying that if the price is right and the GTX 570/580/470/480 (as far as I'm aware they perform very similar to each other) condition seems good go with one of those
