[SOLVED] PC Gpu usage not showing in task manager

i just got a Radeon rx 5500 xt and after installing it i realised that i cant check its usage in the task manager. the option isnt even there in TM.

I have already installed all of the drivers from amd's website

Please help

Is your monitor connected to the GPU or the motherboard? Is your gpu listed in device manager? Have you plugged all the appropriate power cables from the PSU to the GPU?

monitor is plugged into gpu
all cables are fine
gpu is listed in device manager but not in the taskmager... you know where it tells you how much ram u using or how much of your cpu

Run winver and let us know the full version number listed for Windows.
Run dxdiag, go to the display tab, make sure your driver supports WDDM 2.0 or higher.

and windows version is 1703
windows 10 pro (unactivated)

GPU info in task manager is a Windows 10 version 1709 addition. It wasn't implemented in your version of Windows.
