so today my pc decided to "freeze, i was in the middle og a game of diablo 3 and it happend.
i tried pushing numlock but it didnt blink so i pressed the reset button on the case.

ive run chdsk in cmd and sfc scannow,
there were nothing in event viewer nor any crash log.
ive checked temps while doing furmark and aida64 nothing out of the ordinary there

specs:
4790k i7
r9 290 trix 4gb
8gb kingston hyper x blu
120gb ssd samsung evo
1tb wd black 7200rpm
msi z97m gaming

but really? it happend twice? and both times after i had the case opened to blow it? could it really just be a driver fucking it up when i turn the pc off and turnoff the psu and unplug it?

Well you didn't give any of those details. Turn off, unhook the power, discharge power supply and reseat your video card. When you were moving it around and had it open the card might have moved a little.

If you know all your temps are, and have been, normal updating my driver is the first thing I would do if I started having problems during gaming. There are some other hardware problems that could cause this to happen but these steps are a good start and you won't really know unless you can replicate the problem.
