Yo

So my PC loved to shit the bed when I'm playing graphically intensive games like Assassins Creed: Origins and Overwatch. It did this originally when I first built it but I fixed the issue by opening MSI Afterburner and setting power draw to 60%. This fixed the issue for a while.

However, recently the PC powers off even while MSI Afterburner is open. I cleaned out the dust and the temperatures seem fine but it still powers off.

Specs=
Zotac GTX 1060 6GB Mini
MSI B350M Gaming Pro Motherboard
Corsair VS550W
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8gb Sticks at 2400Mhz
Ryzen 3 1200

Someone help pls

According to this:

the corsair VS series of PSUs are no better than tier 6 0n a seven tier scale(pretty bad!) I think your PSU is about to give up the ghost, and die.

I would suggest replacing it with a 5-600 watt unit from a tiers 1, 2 or 3. Those tiers are all decent so what ever is available and within your budget should work fine.

What are your temps?

The temps idle around 45 and cap at whatever I set them in MSI Afterburner.

I mean what are your load temps before it shuts down?

That's what they are before shutdown.

Yeah, I did see that but was hoping with all my heart that wouldn't be the issue. It's funny though because I've only had it since the end of last Summer but whatever, I guess I just need to burn more money. Thanks anyway 😀. I appreciate the help.
