Hi guys, please help me.

My PC was working well till the past few weeks. Out of a sudden, i'm getting super duper FPS fluctuating problem in BF4 and other games. I thought its my GPU problem and i sent it for check and repair but now im using my old GPU but im still experiecining the same issue. When im in BF4 for example, everything is smooth till sometimes few mins later or few hrs later, my FPS will drop and up, drop and up and it will stay like this till i restart my PC. My Comp also experience some lag too.

PC Specs,
Window 8.1 Pro 64bit
Intel i5-3470
8GB RAM
GPU 5770

Things i have tried,
Cleaning and reapplying thermal paste a few times and cleaning my computer and such.
Defrag, ccleaner.
Also, i just reformatted my PC and its still having such issue so i doubt its my software.

Attached below is an example

Please help :( Im at my wits end already. What used to be a perfect computer has suddenly becoming a problem to me :( I dont overclock or anything too. Also, i notice a stable FPS drop in bf4. It used to be ~110FPS but now in avg i got 60-70FPS.

Hope someone here can help me thanks!

So that blip in the middle there - what exactly was going on in the game at that point? It's very noticeable that the CPU usage is substantially higher after the first blip. I'm assuming the end bit where the graph goes all over the place is you tabbing out to shoot the screen shot?

It may be worth taking a look into event viewer and see if there is any strange activity that corresponds to that blip in your gameplay.

Here's a better view i guess. i guess i lag cause of my CPU putting it at high and low load inbetween.
Sigh. For this picture, nothing is going on at the back maybe just the skype itself but even still, when i restart my comp and just on BF4, i will experience such problem too.
I'm using RealTemp 3.70 to monitor my temp and my distance to TJ max is LOWER than my temperature in game.

I restarted my computer and use Prime95 to stress test my CPU. I got no issue at all but then might be cause i restarted my computer.

I only got throttling issue after a while of using the computer or BF4.

How do i check parts for failure? I have tried stress testing it and no problem at all.

Your specs you listed say your graphics card is a gpu 5770.
Thats quite vague, whats that? Hd 5770? Gtx 570?
Who the manufacturer? What drivers are you using for your card? Are they beta drivers or not?

Im using the latest available driver. And not the beta drivers.

well, i have news, ands its all bad sorry.
looking at your gpu :
http://graphics-cards.specout.com/l/69/ATI-Radeon-HD-5770
your card is rather weak in todays standards. it has a 650 mhz core, probably overclockable to 850.
the main problem here is your memory bandwidth is 128 bit as opposed to the norm of 256/384. On top of all that your vram is 1gb.
what i think is happening is that as your playing bf4, your vram is slowing being filled with textures and such, until it hits its capacity of 1gb. After capacity is reached, your performance will degrade, as your computer resorts to slower hardware to process new textures.
Unfortunatly theres nothing can be done other than buying a new gpu. The good news is and upgrade to this card wont cost you much.
Edit : you may want to upgrade to a new card anyway with directx 12 around the corner. Any radeon card with GCN architecture will be able to run dx12.

Yea your card is rly low end here.Try to clean and change thermal paste at your graphic card also. What motherboard do you have?
Try to use High Performance Mode when you play games.
Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Power Options

I see. Cause this is my old GPU. The one im using all along is the power colour 7870 myst edition till i have throttling issues. I thought its my GPU problem therefore i send it to repair (needa wait 2 mths) and i resort to using my old GPU.

Im afraid is my mobo problem but i stress test it and check it and everything is fine. Might be now my mobo is okay just that my old GPU cant keep up with it?

Ok try to reset BIOS settings to Default one.
When you doing nothing(when you PC idle) check CPU usage or processes in Task Manager.Maybe you have some malware or bitcoin miner on your pc that is taking your CPU and GPU.
