Ok, so heres an interesting dilemma.

I got up this morning at 5, checked the weather, and went to work. Got home at 3, and PC wont start. We DID get a major thunderstorm yesterday, but all peripherals and PC are plugged into a APC UPS.

So I believe that it is unrelated to the storm. I am running a Cougar 1000CM 1000W Power Supply with an ASUS P6TD deluxe motherboard

When I turn on the power supply, the 2 buttons inside the case, on the motherboard for power and reset, they are both lit. However, when pressing the power button (either on the case or on the motherboard) I got nothing. No fans, no beeps, no nothing. I disconnected all peripherals, and tried again........ nothing.

I disconnected all of the power cables except the motherboard that plug into the power supply......nothing.

I have not removed video card, HD's, CD/DVD drives, etc.

Thoughts on the culprit?

Disconnect the PSU from the system and jumper the green and any black wire on the 24 pin connector. See if the PSU starts with the switch in the on position.
