Pc has power yet won't start at all

This is my first time building a PC. Ive been very careful and i am fairly sure that everything is connected in the right places. However, when I try to start the Pc up, nothing happens. Ive made sure that power is going to the Pc so im not sure what the problem is. Im also fairly confident it isnt static damage. Is there anyway that i can fix this or id there any good troubleshooting ideas anyone has?

When this has happened to me, it has been known to be because I connected the power and reset cables the wrong way around.
