[SOLVED] PC has significantly lower WIFI speeds than laptop/devices in new apartment.

A couple days ago, I moved into an apartment a bit away from home. When I started connecting my laptop, phone, and computer to the internet connection, I noticed that my custom built PC (built new in November 2020) was struggling to get 1 mbps download. I tried tweaking all sorts of advanced settings in the properties of my WiFi card from the device manager window only to have inconsistent results. Occasionally after random adjustments, my PC is able to achieve the same speeds as my laptop however, it doesn't stay consistently and it is difficult to replicate. Speedtest.net claims that I have a ping of 2, a download speed of around 7.75 mbps, and an upload speed of around 7.65 mbps when using my laptop. I am unsure what the issue is and was wondering if anyone here would be able to provide advice.

Laptop WiFi card: Intel Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz
PC WiFi card: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz

Do you have your own modem, router, or combination modem/router that you brought with you? Or maybe just the router? Or connecting/joining into a completely different, existing network?

Make and model information for modem, router?

My thought is that you have a duplicate IP address.

Another thought is that the PC may have ended up with two network adapters enabled: wired and wireless. If you wish to use wireless network connectivity then the wired network adapter should be disabled. Or vice versa.

Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt on both PC and Laptop.

Post the results.
