[SOLVED] PC has ultra lag when I open anything

So I just bought a prebuilt PC about two months ago, mainly for gaming, it's worked perfectly fine until suddenly today, while I was playing with my friend when suddenly everything started lagging horribly, I thought it was the game but it persisted after I turned off the game and rebooted my PC, just now I tried turning on my PC and I immediately shut down every program that opens on startup and the lag stopped, and I tried opening everything one by one to see if it was one program, but my pc just lags if anything is open, so I'm just stuck at the desktop, looking in the task manager everything I open up says "very high" power usage, and programs will randomly take up 100% GPU

Solution
Check the health of the storage drive(s). If there's an excessive number of bad sectors, it's going to slow down anything on it.
Any 'hits' are going to cycle over and over until they stop running into errors.
If you don't have one installed already, you can use Crystal Disk Info: https://crystalmark.info/redirect.php?product=CrystalDiskInfoInstaller

There was also a recent Windows update, and you may need to reinstall certain motherboard drivers - because Windows thinks it's hot fudge, and overwrites some of them.
Usually it's audio and lan that need to be reinstalled.

Programs randomly taking up 100% gpu? PC is 'clean'?
Give Adwcleaner a run. It can find some things that tend to get past Defender and some of the other AVs...
