PC headset microphone crackling and popping

I recently bought a headset call "Xtreme gaming h-305" and whenever I try to use the mic on my pc, it crackles and pops. So I thought "maybe I got a defective one?" So I tested on my phone, and it works perfectly. I've tried everything to get it to work, updating drivers, changing properties in the control panel, changing the volume on the mic roller itself, and it either is too quiet for anyone to hear, or its loud enough, but crackles and pops really badly. Any help would be appreciated

try to get a splitter so split the mic and audio jack and maybe you neeed to plug it on the back where the MOBO is at, my PC the front port is crazy but i plug from the back is fine so try it

it didn't work, now i can just hear all the crackling and popping through the headset, for a second i thought it had worked, because there wasn't any crackling, but a minute or so later it started happening again. but thank you anyways

okay try to pull out a bit? or plug it all in sometimes its the connection problem
