Good Afternoon from Canada

My computer has been crashing when I play any kind of games either intensive for pc or easy, browsing and doing word etc no issues

Heat is fine been tracking both CPU and GPU

When the crash happens it usually goes into a boot loop(it also doesnt display anything) and I give up to find out an hr or 2 later it has booted successfully into windows?

When I looked it up says my PSU might be browning out? and I need a new PSU?

I have 4790k and 1080ti how much PSU do I need as I dont want to buy 900w or higher if I dont need that much

Right now I have a 900w Evga PSU but I bought this PC used a few years(3+) ago so dont think I can get anything under warranty as I dont have receipts or boxes

Where does something say "your psu may be browning out"?
I don't know what browning out might mean.

Yes, possibly your psu is failing.
Can you test with a known good psu?
a quality 650w psu should be fine.

EVGA makes some excellent power supplies and, also some that are not so good.
The exact make/model would help.

That is what I meant browing out is a failing PSU, dont have a spare thinking of ordering off amazon to see if thats the issue and if that doesnt solve it I can return it nice and easy

Weird thing is played GTA V no issues for over an hour, going to try 2 other games to see if I can replicate the error

Questions were asked, but no answers. How can we help if the answers do not come?
