PC Help Please

GPU: Nvidia 2080 Founders
CPU: i7-7700k(4.2ghz)
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB 2400
MOBO: ASUS Z170-A

My specs are listed as above and I just feel like I'm not getting the performance that I should be getting and i'm not sure what is happening. If more info from my build is needed just ask!

Your motherboard isn't compatible with the Kaby Lake 7700k CPU. Your motherboard's BIOS will have to be updated with a Skylake CPU. I suggest getting a Z270 Motherboard.

Seeing as there are a lot of retailers out there for that kind of board do you have a specific suggesting for a z270 board?

I personally use the Z270 gaming pro carbon and it works extremely well. It has great bios and great software.
