Question PC help with CS GO

I bought a gaming pc from i buypower and my experience in cs go has been terrible heres my specs my old pc ran it much better with way worse specs i7 gtx 970 500 watt psu 16 gigs ram

New PC Processor Intel Core i9-9900KF
Cooling Thermaltake Water RGB Liquid cooling
64gb Gskill Ripjaws V
Geforce RTX 2080 SUPER
MSI MAG Z390 Tomahawk
1200 watt psu 80 plus gold

500 gb WD SSD Itb Hard drive Windows 10 I game on a 240 Hz gigabyte Aorus KD25F fps is great inet connection is great the game is choppy and looks like tearing or bottle necking but im not sure please help

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You could try downloading the latest drivers for your Nvidia GPU from Nvidia's support site. Then use DDU to uninstall your existing GPU drivers. Reboot, then reinstall your GPU drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

See if that helps. You could also try and uninstall and reinstall CS:GO.

Model for your PSU? BIOS version for your motherboard? Version for your OS?

Thank you I’ve done all that but haven’t done it in administrator yet so I’ll try that for my specs I should be running cs go great it stutters and freezes during spraying and gun fights fps is solid and internet connection is good nvidia settings are optimized just about everything you can think of I’ve done I’ve tested multiple monitors multiple gpus the only thing I haven’t checked is psu and liquid cooler but temps are great well gaming so definitely not an issue I wonder if it’s a bios issue I wish I new more so I could diagnose the problem myself

No offence but you simply copy/pasta'd the receipt from another iBuyPower customer (https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/pc-help-with-cs-go.3697136/post-22276998). It doesn't include the make and model of your PSU, instead it ahs the wattage of the PSU. Your first post states 500W and now you have a 1200W PSU?

Tearing is usually a G-sync issue...make sure you have it turned on in the nVidia control panel...you might also want to try a frame cap at 240fps.
