My rig is

Asus x570 Tuf gaming plus
Galax sg edition 2080 ti
Ryzen 9 3900x
Trident 3200 mhz 16x2 32gb
Corsair Vs650
1 tb seagate hdd barracuda

My gpu switchs off meaning it has a rgb lighting system as soon as i start a game the light goes of and i lose signal to my monitor but everything else stays lit like my ram sticks and cpu, is this a gpu issue or power supply issue?
Mine is a completely new build.

You need to get a better quality PSU. That VS is considered trash. Mind sharing a picture or a link the PSU you've got in there just for us to be double sure?
