My PC is tripping the circuit breaker intermittently. I have searched through the forums on this and there doesn’t seem to be one clear solution unfortunately, I would love to hear some suggestions from the community.

Background info:
I have my computer set up in my bedroom along with the modem and wireless router and the breaker for the bedroom is a 15 amp breaker and is fairly new because I had to replace a bad one about 6 months ago. My wife keeps her laptop charging in the bedroom as well but I eliminated that as the culprit already by process of elimination. I have tripped the breaker while nothing was plugged in except my pc/modem/router. I have had my computer set up for a couple of years now without having any issues. It only happens when I am playing Overwatch and it occurs randomly. Sometimes I can play for 3 or 4 hours and it will be fine, other times it trips after gaming for 15 to 20 minutes, I will go unplug everything and it will trip again. I don’t think PC setup alone is enough to trip the circuit breaker or it would have done it when I was playing Skyrim for hours on end when I first set this thing up. I would be willing to move my pc to the living room however I would need to buy a wifi dongle to test it out while gaming and besides I really like where I have it.

My Power supply is old, it is from my old PC I built back in 2013. Is it common for an older power supply to cause this? I have only seen them just die without warning. If so what Brand/model should I buy? My biggest worry is that the wiring in the house is faulty. What do you all think?

Solution
I'd replace the PSU, given that this is a junk-tier PSU that shouldn't be run on any gaming PSU, let alone on one with a 220W CPU. Raidmax is one of the avoid brands, mostly using cheap Andyson platforms with dodgy capacitors. IIRC, this one doesn't even have active PFC.

Then, if you still have an issue, it's time to call an electrician.
Are you sure there isn't anything else on the circuit somewhere else in the house? I kept tripping a breaker when someone would turn on the microwave in the kitchen while watching a movie on my media center PC in the living room.

At max load that system setup should not use more than 10 amps. As a PSU gets older it's capacity decreases not increases. If it was having problems it would overheat and shutdown the computer way before it trips the circuit breaker.
