Hi,
Recently my pc was getting cramped up so I decided to install fresh os on the pc. After that the pc started acting up.

* Here are the problems.

- Slow start up.( no programs except for chrome and win 7 updates and few audio and graphic drivers )

- Chrome or any app gets slow when i open it.( delayed startup of apps ).

* Here is my pc config.

- Processor - intel(R) core(TM) 2 duo cpu E4500 ( 2.20 GHz ).
-Ram - 4.00 Gb.
-Harddrive - seagate 500gb ( primary drive ) , Toshiba 1 Tb ( secondary ).
-Graphics - nvedia geforce 9500gt ( 1 gb ).
-Os type - win 7 ( 64 bit ).

* Process I have tried.
- Defragmented all drives.
- Ran Chkdsk.
- Removed secondary drive.

( * Note : 329/480 gb is free * )

Even though every thing is same the pc got very slow.
What should i do?

Solution
Alas, many folks think Windows will auto-install everything correctly, which typically results in ...well, less than optimal behaviour....i.e, Windows default drivers for mainboard, graphics, etc....

You need to install all chipset related drivers for whatever mainboard you are using, then correct GPU driver packages.... and you might need to go with an older GPU driver package, as I am not sure when Nvidia dropped support of a 9500GT....
