pc is freezing

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum but I had already seen that many solved their pc problems or other things ...

My problem is this: My pc a while ago was good but now it turns out that with some games started a sticking (freeze) first to notice with the Dota2 that I played to keep the button of tasks everything but nothing is left stuck. I do not know how to do this, but I do not know how to do it. Dota2 Or download the graphics and nothing remains the same ... my pc has the oculus rift which is obvious I can not play either because it freezes the pc ... I do not understand the truth there are games like KF2 that have better graphics than csgo and I can play it to Full graficos I ASK HELP PEOPLE 🙁

PC Specifications: Intel Core i5 6400 2.7 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB 7200 rpm hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce GTX970 graphics card.
6th Generation Processor Intel Core i5 - 6400 Quad Core 2.7 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 3.3 GHz)

have you tried restarting lol

have you tried updating your gpu driver from nvidia site

also some older games are not supported by windows version/ or driver
(like i recently found out borderlands 2 isn't supported for windows 10, and pascal cards, yet its a nvidia exclusive, but it dosen't end badly some mods been floating around to fixed the issue) and their might be one for your issue.

also have tried reinstalling the game, check task manger on its resource usage, and see if the gtx 970 being fully utilize, also change some of the progam capability settings (under right click, then properties, capability settings)

so it really boil downs to trial and error, but you have google, so try typing: Dota 2 freezing/crashing, u might find something relevant
