Hey everyone, my PC keeps freezing while i am playing games. I am running a 2080 ti and an I9 9900K overclocked and so is my graphics card. They have run multiple tests to make sure they are stable. However, during games such as rust, battlefield V, Borderlands 2 and even in league of legends my computer will either completely freeze or it will freeze on the game but not completely. For example, during battlefield V and rust my PC completely froze and couldn't do anything even caps lock wouldn't register. But in LoL the game froze on loading screen but i could still Alt+tab however it did not take you out of the screen so you could alt+tab but it wouldn't leave the screen once you selected the program you wanted to go to. I need help to fix this as I feel like a 2080 ti and I9 should not be having this issue.

Also running 4x8GB of 3600MHz Ram and 1TB samsung evo plus.

I would remove all your overclocks first and see if the issue continues.

No components should be having this issue!

Is this all from one pack or mixed modules?

Also:
  • Have you monitored individual CPU core temps and GPU temps?
  • Do you have latest BIOS installed?
  • Are all drivers up to date?
  • What is your PSU make and model?
  • Did you change anything software or hardware related before the crashing started occuring?

Hey, all the ram is from the same packet which was 4x8 trident z 3600MHz.
All the temps are fine before freezing.
Yes i have latest bios and drivers.
PSU is the 850W ASUS ROG Thor, 80+ platinum.
I have not changed any software or hardware before the crash just been downloading games from steam, origin and epic.
